The world keeps telling a gloom story about Black boys —
but we know different.

There are solutions.
There are builders.
There are Black men ready to lead.

On December 10 at 6 PM, we’re hosting a community conversation on the State of Black Boys in Dayton and introducing The Kingmaker Initiative — a new movement led by Black men to build identity, leadership, brotherhood, and opportunity for our boys.

If you are high school age through adulthood and want to build something real for the next generation, this is your invitation.
This is your moment.
This is our work.

Youth House is launching the Kingmaker Ascend Grant — microgrants of up to $500 to support projects that uplift and empower boys and young men of color, especially Black boys, in Dayton.

We’ll be awarding at least four grants, and possibly more if smaller requests are submitted. 💰
