Meet YWCA Dayton's
2026 Women of Influence Honoree!

Heather Salazar

"I love the idea of Writing Our Future Together because it's a great reminder that the future is ours to create, it's not something that just happens to us. Working together, we can create the kind of world we want to live in by showing up on the front lines for those who need us, whether that's women battling cancer or families fleeing domestic violence. When you recognize a problem, for me, it was that it is not ok for breast cancer patients to take a bus home from a mastectomy, you have the power to start writing a new chapter on what an improved future can look like.
