We blame a lot of things on aging, when in reality so much of it comes down to daily habits.
When we’re constantly slouched forward, we create tension in the chest, a forward-tilted head, and tightness through the neck, scalp, and jaw.
That tension can pull on the muscles and connective tissue of the face, contribute to heaviness in the brows and hooded eyes, deepen forehead tension, encourage a neck hump, and limit healthy circulation to the face.
Better posture does the opposite. It helps release tension, supports better blood flow, lets the face and neck settle back into a more relaxed position, and creates the foundation for skin to look calmer, smoother, and more lifted over time.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about small daily choices that add up.
