Due to the ongoing level 3 snow emergency for Montgomery County as issued by the Montgomery County sheriffs office for 1/26/2026, Far Hills OBGYN will be closed for the entirety of today. We will reschedule any patients who had appointments scheduled today upon return to the office. The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. For any medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest ER or Kettering labor and delivery if you are pregnant. Stay safe and warm!

Due to severe inclement weather that has affected the Miami Valley, our office will have a delayed opening on Monday, 1/26/2026. Our offices will open at noon, unless we are still under a level 3 snow emergency at that time. We have sent messages to patients who are affected by this delay. If you have an appointment and need to cancel or reschedule, please feel free to call the office after 11:30 am. As always, if you have an emergency, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest ER or Kettering Hospital labor and delivery if pregnant. Thanks for your understanding! We will update tomorrow if there are any changes.

Our office is closed today, 12/26/25, and will also be closed January 1st in observance of Christmas and New Years.

Also, starting today, 12/26/25, visitor restrictions are in effect at all Kettering hospitals due to increase in respiratory viruses/illnesses. No children under 14 will be allowed to visit. Thank you for your cooperation!

Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine (high risk obstetrics) also is in support and agreement that acetaminophen use in pregnancy is safe.

To be clear, SMFM stands behind our recommendation that acetaminophen use during pregnancy has not been shown to cause or increase the risk of autism or other neurobehavioral problems in children.

One of our primary objectives as physicians and practitioners is to first do no harm. We make our recommendations for care of our pregnant patients based on quality and reproducible scientific, evidence-based medicine.
