One of the greatest joys of our Employee of the Month program is taking time to celebrate the people who quietly contribute to Riverview’s success. This month, we are pleased to recognize Amy as our March Employee of the Month.

Amy joined the Riverview family on June 29, 2020, and for more than 5 years has served as an RN at our facility. This recognition reflects her efforts and contributions that have had a positive impact at Riverview Health Institute.

“Amy has handled her transition from nights to days with such a positive attitude and determination. Change isn’t always easy, but she jumped right in and has been eager to learn every step of the way. She’s currently gaining experience across multiple clinical departments and is also assisting with accreditation duties. She consistently asks thoughtful questions to truly understand the “why” behind what she’s doing and stays focused and motivated throughout. Her willingness to grow, take on new challenges, and maintain such a positive outlook makes her incredibly deserving of this recognition. We’re lucky to have her!”

“Amy is the perfect employee for the month of March. Over the past several months, Amy has truly stepped up by taking on additional responsibilities and helping prepare our teams for survey readiness. She has been a tremendous support to everyone — always willing to jump in wherever needed and ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently. In addition to her regular role, Amy has dedicated time to cross-training in both Pre-Op and PACU, strengthening our department’s flexibility and teamwork. Her positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn make a noticeable difference in our daily workflow and patient care. One of the greatest joys of our Employee of the Month program is the opportunity to celebrate the people who quietly make a meaningful difference behind the scenes. This month, we are proud to recognize Patty as our January Employee of the Month at Riverview Health Institute.

Patty joined the Riverview family on July 7, 2004, and for more than 21 years has served in our billing department, currently as a Claims Negotiator. This recognition reflects her recent efforts and contributions that have positively impacted both our operations and our financial performance.

It’s always a joy to highlight the incredible people who help make Riverview such a welcoming and caring place—and this month, we’re delighted to recognize Tamiko as our November Employee of the Month!

Tamiko joined the Riverview family on February 10, 2025, and in just eight months she has become an essential part of our front-line team. As our main front desk receptionist, she greets every patient and visitor with professionalism and kindness, setting a positive tone from the moment they walk in. Tamiko also supports our medical billing department, demonstrating dependability and a willingness to go above and beyond wherever she’s needed.

“Carrie is the whole package and well deserving of this recognition! Most recently, she went above and beyond in providing support to our clinical team and patients. Not long ago, there was an unexpected surge in PAT case volume. Carrie jumped right in to manage the volume and quickly help brainstorm process flow. Change can be a challenge and stressful when it’s expected although, when not expected the challenge and stress can overwhelm. If she was overwhelmed she sure didn’t show it! She was positive, cheery and maintained a great attitude. She was also recently recognized for being “outstanding” by another team member in one of our internal systems: “I was in the hallway and happened to pass Carrie Judd walking an elderly patient back and it was so nice to hear how sweet she was to this lady. We are heartbroken to share the passing of our dear friend and longtime colleague, Bruce Cramer. For 22 years, Bruce and his wife Judy have been a deeply cherished part of the Riverview Health Institute family. His kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication touched the lives of so many—staff, physicians, patients, and vendors alike.

A Celebration of Life service has been planned to honor Bruce’s legacy, and all who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
