About Angie

Angie built a deep bond with Wellness Studios, becoming Service Coordinator after Transformative coaching with Marianne. Utilizing art therapy, Reiki, and sound bowls- she was able to walk through the inner terrain of anxiety and the ache of a fractured identity, transforming struggle into insight. Three years ago she chose to specialize in Reiki followed by Himalayan sound bowls two years ago to offer & support others’ journeys with grace.

This three-week Kundalini Yoga series invites you to replenish your energy and restore harmony within. Each session will follow a similar rhythm of breathwork, movement, meditation, and mantra, allowing the energy of the practice to settle more deeply into your body and become fully embodied over time. About Your Guide Katie Browning (she/her) is a 500-hour trauma-informed Kundalini Yoga teacher, certified through Yoga Farm Ithaca. She believes we each hold the wisdom to heal ourselves, and her classes are designed to create a safe and compassionate space where that innate healing can unfold. With an emphasis on body autonomy and choice, Katie gently guides students back into presence with their own bodies, supporting them in meeting challenges with curiosity and care. Her approach honors both the discomfort and the deep restoration that are part of every healing journey.

Welcome Katie to The Wellness Studio collective. Katie’s passion for Kundalini Yoga is born from the practice being an intersection of science and spirituality. She uses Kundalini Yoga as an everyday practice to connect with and strengthen her own life force.

Katie believes we are each our own most potent healer and strives to provide the space and practice for each student to connect with their own inner wisdom and source by using trauma informed language which invites sovereignty for each practitioner.

Outside of the classroom Katie’s practice extends to cultivating her garden, spending time with her family and cat, and reading books with a warm beverage in hand. We are so grateful for her offering of this sacred practice as she holds the container.

Meet our Esthetician, Maleah! This gorgeous and cheeky Scorpio, when not at Wellness Studio, can be found out on the trails with her blue-eyed man, Paul, and their two pups Carmella and Bandit. ✨

Maleah offers a variety of esthetic services, including facials, dermaplaning and lash and brow services, all of which are "geared towards refilling the client's energy", she explains. "I work with the nervous system through relaxing touch, drain toxins through lymphatic drainage, and often include facial cupping to increase blood-flow, and LED therapy to stimulate healthy cellular function and reduce inflammation. You always leave having been poured into, at the very least, but often educated, glowing, and feeling rejuvenated."
