Five Rivers Health Centers, a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC), are committed to providing quality, cost-effective care for our patients and community, with respect and dignity, and without regard to ability to pay, while providing a superior educational experience for residents and other learners.
Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) are community-based organizations that provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to persons of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. FQHCs provide comprehensive health services to the medically under-served areas while helping patients to establish medical homes.
This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). FRHC is protected by the Federal Tort Claim Act Program (FTCA).
Five Rivers Health Centers receive HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
