Chief of Staff Dr. Lora Cox-Vance and employees from Mental Health, Social Work and other departments took part very early this morning in the Point in Time (PIT) count. Our team was looking for homeless Veterans to offer them emergency housing and resources. No Veterans were found. They fanned out around Montgomery County with county volunteers who were looking for other homeless people. The PIT count is a yearly and mandatory event for communities receiving federal money from the Department of Housing and Urban Development
