Mission Addiction

Mission Addiction We teach & coach individuals, couples & families how to heal, restore & transform their lives. Everyone is welcome!

Our spiritual family allows you to connect, learn, and grow in faith. You do not have to be impacted by addiction to benefit from or participate in our events and services. Although we’re a Christian organization and those values are evident everywhere, you do not have to be a Christian to volunteer or attend. We embrace culturally diverse clients and volunteers. We depend upon that variation of thought to contribute to effective services and growth for everyone. MISSION ADDICTION

Today’s hope message comes from our Map for Life program, module 20: Recognizing & Reforming the People Pleaser Inside You — Overcoming Codependency & Creating Healthy Boundaries.

In this module, participants learn to:
🔍Identify the signs and root causes of people-pleasing
⚖️Reflect on the balance between faith-based service and unhealthy excess.
🔺️Explore the drama triangle and the freedom found in detachment.

People-pleasing often starts with good intentions — loving others, serving faithfully, wanting to help. But when service turns into exhaustion or resentment, something needs to shift.

Day 17 of 25 Days of Hope -

Today’s hope message comes from our Map for Life program, module 17: They’re Not Weird - They’re Just Different; Meet Me Where I Am

In this module, participants learn to:
🛠 Learn personality typologies for self-assessment and increased awareness.
💛Recognize that others think, feel, and process differently than we do.
🌱Reduce misunderstandings and improve relationships.

Self-awareness is the foundation for healthier relationships. When we realize others don’t think, feel, or process the world the same way we do, we stop taking things so personally — and start interacting with more patience and understanding.
