Valentine's Day is always a special time for us at Today's Dental, as it also happens to be the day that our lovely insurance coordinator, Stacey B, started working with us! We are so thankful for her knowledge, expertise, and the kindness she shows each one of our patients, whether she's explaining a treatment plan or scheduling their next visit. Happy 4 year Workiversary, Stacey! We are so thankful you work at our office and hope we have many more! ❤️☺️

The more enjoyable things are, the more likely we will want to do them. Consider involving your child in making decisions about products they can use to take care of their teeth. Whether it's taking them to the store to let them pick out their own toothbrush or getting their opinion on which kind of floss they want to use, the more involved they are, the better!

It's so important to give your child a good head start on their dental care, as having a good foundation can set them up for success later in life. Because of this, it's recommended that the first dental visit take place by the time your child turns 1 or within six months after their first tooth erupts. Pediatric offices are a great option for first visits for very young patients. 🦷☺️❤️

Tuesday's Tip!

Did you know that brushing too aggressively can damage your teeth and gums? In order to keep your mouth clean and healthy, you don't need to use a lot of force when you brush. Using a soft bristled toothbrush will be more gentle for your gums and teeth, and when brushing, try using gentle pressure, or better yet, try using an electric toothbrush with a built-in pressure sensor that will let you know when you're brushing too hard.
