Sometimes parenting feels like solving a mystery.

Why did that escalate so quickly?
Why didn’t the consequence work?
Why does the same thing happen over and over?

Turns out a lot of baffling behavior has less to do with choices and more to do with nervous system regulation.

When kids are dysregulated, their bodies are basically saying:

“I’m overwhelmed and I don’t know what to do.”

This is where sensory-based strategies can be incredibly helpful.

Movement, sensory input, and body-based supports can help bring the nervous system back toward regulation… which makes everything else easier.
