Dr Hagerty is dedicated to providing you with the personalized, quality dental care. He has provided dental services in the area for over 30 yrs. Dr. William J.

Hagerty has been dedicated to offering professional dental care in a friendly environment for over thirty years in the Dayton area. After graduating from Archbishop Alter High School in 1975, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame. Due to his academic performance, he was accepted early into The Ohio State University School of Dentistry where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Hagerty has continued his education extensively in the areas of Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Implantology, Cosmetic Dentisty, and is licensed to perform I.V. Sedation. He is also a member of the Dayton Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

We are VERY excited to announce we have a new Doctor joining our team. Please stop in and say "Hi" to Dr. Tanguay starting this month in both our Centerville and Huber Heights locations.

Dr. Ryan can be seen in our Centerville office on Wednesday, and in our Huber Heights location on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Dr. Ryan Tanguay grew up in Springboro Ohio and went to college in Chattanooga Tennessee. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2019, and completed a General Practice Residency where he gained experience treating medically compromised, anxious, and special needs patients.

Dr. Ryan is passionate about dentistry has been a provider in Columbus area for the past two years. While not at work, he leads an active life with his wife Keren and son Isaac. Ryan has many outdoor hobbies that change with the seasons and loves working on anything with an engine.

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

In order to continue to keep you safe during your dental visits you will be seeing some changes in the office as we proceed to open next week. For example:

• Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again, have your temperature recorded and asked to sign a form once in the office.

• You may see that our waiting rooms will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

• We will ask you to call our office once you have arrived and to please wait in your car until we notify you we are ready for you to enter the office. Please call 937-434-7822 when you arrive.

• We do ask for you to wear a face mask/fabric covering while entering the building at this time and limit extra companions to only essential care givers.

• We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

• Due to the extra PPE our team will be wearing, the office temperature will be cooler than usual. Please dress accordingly for your comfort.

We wanted you all to know we have been thinking of you and we miss you!

We hope to have more information as to when our office can reopen after Governor DeWine speaks tomorrow. We will be sure to keep you informed.

We hope everyone is remaining healthy and staying safe. The office is currently closed due to the order by the CDC and the Ohio Dental Association. Our front desk team will be in the office periodically to retrieve messages during this time and we will continue to see patients on an emergency basis.

If you have an upcoming appointment in the next few weeks and have not received a call from our office, please be patient as we are reaching out to each of you as quickly as we can to reschedule your appointment.

If you have an emergency please do not go to the hospital, Dr. Hagerty is available to you during this time and can be reached at 937-681-2893 for emergencies only.

Dr Hagerty would like to reassure everyone we will continue to take universal precautions, as we do every day, in our office to do our part in keeping everyone safe and putting our patient's minds at ease. We will also be taking extra precautions by sanitizing all surfaces such as the waiting room, door k***s, chairs, restroom and all counters.

We are encouraging all patients and employees to stay home and rest if they are showing signs of any respiratory illness. Appointments can and will be rescheduled due to illness.

At this time, (according to the recommendations by both state and local government) your dental care need not be suspended or postponed. We will continue to stay alert and we will notify you if this status changes.
