Moving forward, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects there will be 11.9 million new jobs created from 2020 to 2030, an overall growth rate of 7.7%.

US Centers for & Services () released its FY 2023 proposed payment rule, it comes with a decrease in payment rates by 4.2%, or $810 million less compared to 2022 rates. In an industry that already has very thin margins, this is crazy! With significantly rising costs for staff, shortages for clinicians, transportation, and other expenses, ever-shrinking reimbursement along with more cumbersome and complex coding and QA requirements and other mandates, it will deal a huge blow to non-hospital-owned HH agencies.
