Equitas Health Dayton Associate Board

Equitas Health Dayton Associate Board The Associate Board supports Equitas Health's mission by acting as ambassadors in the fight against HIV/AIDS and engaging young adults in their community.

Young adults are disproportionately impacted by HIV/AIDS. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that as many as half of all new HIV infections in the U.S. occur among those aged 25 years and younger. As a result, AIDS Resource Center Ohio (ARC Ohio) formed an Associate Board as a method of engaging young adults in the fight against the epidemic. The AIDS Resource Center of Ohio became Equitas Health in 2016. The Equitas Health Dayton Associate Board continues to advocate for HIV prevention efforts in the Dayton Region by assisting in the planning of the annual fundraiser Masquerage which provides critical funding for HIV prevention in our community.
