Hanon Pediatrics We offer one on one medical care in a home like atmosphere. Modern medicine with an old fashion feel. Pediatrics from newborns through college age.

We are a participating provider for Anthem, Cigna, Aetna and Southern Health. We also offer discounted pricing for cash pay patients. We accept cash, check or credit card. For those with insurance that we do not participate with, we will offer a billing slip to self submit to your insurance plan. Hours are subject to vary due to the call schedule of the physician. We also do suturing and casting for those accidents that all children have!

Official Immunization Records Available
Through VDH Portals


Virginia residents can now securely access their official immunization records through confidential, HIPAA compliant‑ electronic portals (MyIR Portal and COVID & MMR Portal) managed by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH).

These portals allow residents to view, download, and print their official immunization records at any time.
Printed records obtained from these portals are official reproductions of the immunization information maintained in VIIS.
All records generated through the portals are electronically signed by VDH and considered official Virginia immunization documents that are accepted statewide.
What’s the difference between the two VDH Immunization portals?



MyIR Portal

Allows Virginia residents to access their full vaccine history that is recorded in VIIS.



COVID & MMR Portal

Allows Virginia residents to access their COVID-19 and Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) immunizations that are recorded in the Virginia Immunization Information System.

Please call to schedule your summer check ups now! All children middle and high school playing sports will need a physical after May 1 and all PreK, Kindergarten will need physicals before they may start school, rising 7th and 12 th graders will need to make sure all vaccines are up to date.
