Since 1850, Acie Cemetery has been the final resting place for influential people of color. This historical cemetery is located in Dayton, Texas.

The ACIE Cemetery Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt association under Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (3) and as such shall abide by the laws regulating such organizations. Our purpose is to promote knowledge of Dayton History and heritage by bringing together loved ones and folks interested in cemeteries and local Black history. The association has always operated on a volunteer basis.
