The annual business meeting of the Linney-Acie Cemetery Association will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. This year’s meeting will take place at Parker Hall, 201 S. Hill St., Dayton, located behind the Dayton Historical Society’s Old School Museum.
Please help us spread the word to other members you may know. We hope to see you there.

It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Moore, Sr. announce the news of Aunt Stella's passing. Her presence in our lives will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever live on in our hearts. May she rest in peace.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Olive Bethel Missionary Church. The interment will take place at Acie Cemetery in Dayton, Texas.

Cemetery Cleanup this morning going well. The Lord shining on us all. We will be wrapping up here by 11a.m. to pay our respects to a friend of the Acie Cemetery Mr. Chapman was a great man in this community and will be heavily missed.

Mr. Hurley Provost 88, of Dayton transitioned on June 19, 2022.

Services are Saturday, June 25, 2022 at St Joseph Catholic Church 804 South Cleveland St, Dayton.

Visitation will begin at 10AM until Funeral at 11AM.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, and the effective end of slavery in the United States. In June 2021, Juneteenth became the 11th federal paid holiday.
