Here are some tips for using archetypes to strengthen and enrich your personality along the journey of self mastery.

-Start by exploring the different archetypes available. Make sure you understand the meaning behind each one and decide which ones best reflect the characteristics you want to embody.

-Once you have chosen an archetype you want to use, focus on building up its qualities. Think of ways in which you can bring out the best aspects of the archetype in yourself.

-Visualize yourself embodying the archetype. Imagine yourself acting out the qualities you want to embody.
Find ways to practice embodying the archetype. You could try role-playing the archetype in different situations or make plans to do things that would be in line with the archetype.

-Reflect on your progress. Make sure you take the time to observe how you are embodying the archetype and identify areas where you need to improve.

This barely scratches the surface of how effective using archetypes can be for learning more about yourself and standing your mastery over your interests and obligations in life. Learning about the archetypes that guide and inspire us is one of the most useful tools available in helping you become the best version of yourself!

“Our job in this life is not to shape ourselves into some ideal we imagine we ought to be, but to find out who we already are and become it.”

It's about allowing that which we already are at our core to shine through. Sure, you may need to learn and hone some skills to fully embody this inner vision and help add strength and knowledge to your understanding of it. But that process starts with opening up and allowing that aspect of ourselves to come forth freely, dissolving the dreaded resistance we feel about "how we might look", "being seen as imperfect", or being afraid of failure. Maybe even being afraid of success?

Burst through that resistance and let yourself become the you that you already are at your core. Without feeling the need to "earn it". You will naturally earn it every day by putting the pen to paper, carrying the buckets of water, and breathing deeply into this ideal way of Being and all of the amazing aspects of life that come with it. We waste so much energy these days resisting that which we don't want to experience, when all we need to do is allow ourselves to have what we already are. Energy goes where attention flows.

What we resist, persists.
And you will always receive that which you are.

And that probably won't make sense until you allow yourself to believe in it.

It's a paradox. But we're meant to transcend it.

What character are you playing today? What story are you writing?

There's never a moment in this beautiful life of ours that we're not playing some character or role. Are you choosing your role freely, or consciously? Are you allowing yourself to slide gracefully into the areas of life that thrill and excite you, and inspire your soul?

Or do you find yourself resisting a plotline thrust upon you by an outside force? Stepping into a role that you fear or possibly hate? Do you know that even in these circumstances the pen is in your hand? This is often difficult to see when we're in the middle of the story.

Every character, every role you can possibly imagine can be traced to an Archetype. Or a First Form. And the more that we learn about these ancient programs, these primordial ways of Being, the greater sense of Mastery that we can bring to our lives, to our stories.

✨During our 1 on 1 weekly video conferences, I will share my experience, my research and my knowledge regarding these sacred symbols. I will hold brave space for you to explore your own archetypal relationships and give encouraging prompts for strengthening them, suggest recommended reading, share my personal guided meditation journeys and offer creative assignments for the next session. At the end of our course we will work together to put these newly strengthened pieces of you to work to help accomplish a creative or spiritual goal that you have set for yourself!

About the instructor: I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and certified Life Story Life Coach and Breathwork Instructor. I am an artist, performer, event producer and leather worker that has spent decades listening to, studying and deepening my relationship with the archetypes; learning to balance their influence to better support my personal creative and spiritual goals. 18 months ago I became a life coach to help others discover and rewrite parts of their personal stories that no longer served them. Archetypes were a major part of that "Story of You" program and that exploration has formed the basis for this "From Myth to Mastery" course. My goal is to help others identify the creative and symbolic forces at play within them, and learn to listen to their desires to develop a greater sense of Mastery and direction in their lives.

It is with a bittersweet excitement that I find myself reaching the closing of a chapter with my first round of "Story of You" clients. These past 6 months have been so transformational for me, and revealed so many aspects of my own path and my own cast of archetypal characters. It's been a blessing every step of the way! I'm so honored to have shared this time and space with this first round of pioneers. My heart is heavy to see them go, but I am so ecstatic to welcome my next round of clients into my Story of You program. People that are ready to take control of the story they are writing, get to know their values, their belief systems, and their own archetypal characters on a more intimate level, and hone these skills to overcome blockages along their creative and spiritual paths!

I'm now seeking brave souls ready to embark on a daring adventure! It is an adventure within, to our very core. To the place where our hopes and our dreams reside, and to unlock the doors that keep them separated from us. I'm seeking for those that are seeking a guide, a friend, and an ally along this journey. A message for the creators, the teachers, the healers, and the magic makers. To those that delve deeply into themselves reaching into the unknown towards something larger than they are in an attempt to unleash new ideas, urge forward momentum, growth, and inspire curiosity in those around them. To those that continue to create even when they aren't properly acknowledged, appreciated, or compensated for the work that they do, and in spite of this push on harder than before. To those that have brought miracles to life with only your own raw essence at hand and scraps of the resources you deserve to have at your disposal...

This ability to create no matter the circumstances has made you strong. It has made you worthy. You have grown an appreciation for the little things, and you have discovered what true value actually means. You have become innovative. You can turn dust into a Kingdom, peanuts into a feast, and pennies into a fortune. You have pushed yourself past your breaking point, and you have discovered your limits, your absolute best qualities, and also your worst. You now know yourself. And that is the greatest gift a Being can receive.

If you feel unappreciated in your work, looked over, underpaid, unacknowledged...Keep going. Glance backwards and see how far you've come for a second. Think about how proud your past self would be to see where you are right now. Remember why you started creating in the first place...

You're doing great. And you're more qualified and capable than you will ever know.
