👏 We are so proud of Lee, who came to us for physical, occupational, and speech therapies after a total knee replacement. When he arrived, he needed significant assistance for all mobility, getting in and out of bed, getting to the wheelchair, standing, and getting dressed. He wasn't even able to walk at the beginning. Physical therapy worked on his knee mobility and helped him get back on his feet. Occupational therapy helped get him more independent with tasks that he does within the home, and speech therapy focused on respiratory support to improve coordination of breathing and swallowing.
Throughout his stay, Lee not only participated in therapy sessions but also helped the therapy staff make their co****le boards more fun and challenging. 😁 He spent many hours to transform them. We are very thankful to him and are proud of his hard work. Residents like Lee make a difference. He would always go out of his way to make someone smile, and we are so glad he has made such great improvements to be able to go back home by himself.
