We had a fantastic dinner and educational program on Monday November 10th. We had many guests in attendance, and we hope to see many of those faces as members. Nicole Stinson, NP from Neurocrine Biosciences, presented a program on Tardive Dyskinesia with great videos and questions that were asked! We look forward to our next meeting on December 8th, more details to follow soon!

✅Bring a potential NEW member to the event

✅Notify Julie Logan (or any board member) of the name of your guest by Friday November 7th. If you have not provided the name by that date, we will have to release your seats.

✅Sign up for the waitlist, we often have seats pop up throughout the week. If you will not be able to attend, please un-RSVP as soon as possible.

✅Come with your best foot forward! We want to drive our membership up, with more members, we can do more for our community!

What a beautiful day to support our community, by attending the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event in Deland! An amazing turnout for a very good cause! There were 750 walkers registered, and we had 10 council members participate! It was a bit chilly, but a great morning was had!

Reminder to register and join us for the Alzheimer’s Walk tomorrow in Deland. The festivities begin at 8am, with a kick-off ceremony at 9am, followed by the walk.

Congratulations 🎊 to our council we have been recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association of Volusia Flagler as "Fundraiser Champions" as we walk to raise awareness and fight for a cure standing in the gap for those that we've lost, care forever, and support. It reminds us why we do the work we do so proudly on a daily basis and why we will never stop engaging and fighting for a cure.

On November 10th, we will be hosting a special Educational dinner and learning opportunity at Stonewood LPGA.

What’s the catch, you ask?

✅ In order to attend, you must BRING a potential new member! They can have their MSN already, or be a student in either a MSN or DNP program.

✅ Please reach out to a Board member to secure your seat and a seat for your guest!

✅ Networking will begin at 6pm, with our dinner program commencing at 6:30pm.

✅ Raffle and prizes will be involved!

✅ This is a fantastic opportunity to bring in some new members so that we can reach even more of our community! We have a large amount of seats available so bring your Advanced Degree friends!
