Doulas play a vital role in supporting expectant mothers offering emotional, physical, and educational care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. Their presence helps reduce stress, promote confidence, and create a more positive birth experience for both mom and baby.

Helping Hands Family Chiropractic, led by Dr. Aneesah Farris, was honored to participate in this warm and welcoming community event dedicated to pregnant mommies and their families. Dr. Farris offered prenatal massage services and wellness consultations, and even raffled off diapers to support new and expecting moms.

It was a truly beautiful gathering filled with resources, education, and compassion, reminding us all how important it is to care for mothers as they bring new life into the world. 💕

Last week, on Tues Oct 14th, the Holly Hill PD along with Domestic Abuse Council, Inc. DBA Beacon Center attended the City Commission Meeting to raise awareness during the Proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This event not only showcases the importance of making this a community issue but also the continuous partnership and efforts made between the HHPD and DAC to help victims of DV through crisis intervention, empowerment and resources.
