Update on some life:

Dad’s holding steady and deciding with my mom what feels like the next best step in his course of treatment. Saw him 2 weeks ago and was a really good visit.

Recently, we received some tough news for Richie. We are waiting on a few labs and imaging results to come back before we know what our next steps are.
As we navigate the waiting game, all I really ask are just two things:
1. That yall come with some good, funny stories to distract me. Some lightness to break up what can feel heavy some days.
2. Please be patient with last minute schedule changes and I swear I’m not making this s**t up just to get out of work!! lol
I’ll keep yall updated as I can-love you guys!!

Words cannot do justice to the deep feeling of gratitude I had when my sister sent me these pictures of dad ringing the bell and leaving the hospital for his last chemo treatment yesterday.

Thank you, also feels like it falls short, to truly express my gratitude to all of you for the prayers, follow ups, and genuine care & concern for my family through this.

He’s at home resting up and preparing for the next step-bone marrow transplant.

It takes a village-thankful for the community and support we have 💕
