Impacts of Beef Carcass Size on System Production Efficiency

Recently members of the ABS Beef Team attended the 22nd Annual HOLT CAT® Symposium on Excellence in Ranch Management, titled “Impacts of Beef Carcass Size on System Production Efficiency”. It was an exceptional group of presenters who explored impacts of increasing carcass weights from the perspective of every critical stakeholder in the beef supply chain. Our takeaway: The case continues to get stronger for commercial producers to start using Sexcel Female and/or Male sexed semen to build an efficient and resilient cowherd while still producing a calf crop that meets industry demands.
