Childhood trauma is stored throughout the body, primarily manifesting as chronic tension in the nervous system, muscles (neck, shoulders, back), and tissues. It often settles in the gut, leading to digestive issues, while also affecting the heart and immune system. Physically, it resides as "body memory" of stress, altering brain structures.
Key Areas Where Trauma "Sits" in the Body:
Nervous System & Brain: Unprocessed trauma keeps the nervous system on "high alert" (chronic fight-or-flight mode), affecting the brain's hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex, which manage memory and fear responses.
Muscles & Connective Tissue: Chronic tension and tightness often reside in the shoulders, neck, jaw, and lower back, causing pain or conditions like fibromyalgia.
The Gut (Digestive System): Because the gut is highly sensitive to stress hormones (cortisol), trauma frequently manifests as IBS, nausea, and stomach pain.
Chest & Respiratory System: Trauma can cause a feeling of pressure in the chest or, for instance, a shallow, tight, or restricted breath.
Cellular/Systemic Level: It can trigger chronic inflammation, immune system changes, and accelerated aging at a cellular level.
Physical Symptoms of Stored Trauma:
Chronic Pain & Fatigue: Unexplained physical pain, particularly in the back or muscles, and exhaustion despite resting.
Internal Sensations: Shaking, trembling, and cold or sweaty hands/feet.
Disrupted Sleep: Insomnia or recurring nightmares.
Releasing this trapped, unconscious "body memory" often requires trauma-informed therapy,, yoga, breathwork, and somatic therapies that focus on body awareness.

Authenticity is a higher vibration than being "nice or being a good person".
A lot of us have grown up in homes that your opinion, your choices or how you were, was not acceptable. We're taught at a young age to hide those parts of ourselves that make other people uncomfortable. No shade to the people that were a part of this, they were taught this too.
You may have even been rewarded for "not being a problem or being self-sufficient". That is called self-abandonment. And eventually you will make your decisions and choices in your life from a place of of shame, guilt or making yourself small.
Healing that self-sabotage requires taking a look at where you're not being authentic.

Narcissists change the narrative to escape accountability, maintain a grandiose self-image, and secure control by manipulating, denying, or entirely rewriting events. Key tactics include gaslighting to cause doubt, projection to blame others, and "smear campaigns" to ruin reputations. They often position themselves as the victim to avoid consequences.

According to psychology, hate often stems from fear. It is considered a learned, complex emotion-driven behavior rooted in the need for survival, often developing when fear, stress, or a sense of threatened vulnerability is transformed into anger. Hate functions as a defense mechanism, with fear of the "other" (different groups) driving in-group solidarity and out-group aggression.

Fear is an instinctive reaction to perceived danger. When that fear becomes persistent and is targeted at a person or group, it often develops into hatred.
Fear often turns into anger, which, when sustained, hardens into hatred. Anger provides a feeling of power, which can feel safer than the vulnerability of fear.
Humans tend to fear those who are different or who challenge their beliefs. This fear leads to "othering," where a group is deemed dangerous, allowing hate to flourish as a way to protect one's own group.
Hate often arises from fear that something crucial—such as safety, power, or identity—is threatened.
While fear is instinctive, hate is generally a learned response or habit rather than an innate emotion, meaning it can be unlearned through education, empathy, and understanding.
Psychology suggests that recognizing the underlying fear is a crucial step in managing and overcoming hate, as fear is the root that provides the "energy" for hatred. Hate is not an emotion but a learned response fueled by fear, anger, and stress. It flourishes on division, misinformation, and social conditioning.
Hate is neither an emotion nor an instinct—it is a habit, a behavior, a learned response. It represents a destructive way of thinking...
