Went to vet to get some 1st time meds for the young calves and the conversation led to making an appointment to bring all of the heifers in for a vet admin only shot. Well, that requires a trailer. Spoke out to God saying I need a trailer and then a facebook posting in my town flashed up. We now have a vet transport trailer for the farm. Just ask and don't be surprised with the answer.

Hey cowboy friends, got a question for you please. I roped a wandering bull that crossed the fence and tied it to the truck to lead him back to our pasture. Yes, I roped a bull--crazy funny. The question is how do you loosen the loop to get it off his head. I roped one horn and his neck. Had to lead him to the corral and once he was in the Bry Chute and he let me take it off. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

As big as they are I still think my brother's and I (and little sis) ate more each day after school.

Well, this is an ironic first - got a safety recall notice for the emergency break on the guest house at the farm. Hoping the dealer might do a house call; but no, they said bring it in to the dealership. Hooked the guest room to the big truck and there you go. All is well, everything works and parked at the farm again. I like mobility!

After 85 years the farm house is ready for a face-lift and it starts with leveling up the main structure. What a difference in how homes were built then versus now. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the wood maintained over 8 1/2 decades. It looks like +/- 1/2 inch variance is possible and the balance will be adjusted with the subflooring. The clearness is about 12" average.
