🎉 Patient of the Week: Cal 🎉

Cal was SO excited to show off his brand-new skill — blowing up a balloon all by himself! 🎈

This huge milestone was made possible by the progress he’s made in building breath support and strengthening his lips. We are so proud of the hard work he’s putting in and love seeing him celebrate his accomplishments!

🌎✨ World Breastfeeding Week ✨🌎

Hi, I’m Acacia — IBCLC here at Wisconsin Tongue Tie Institute 💛

My journey to becoming a lactation consultant started while I was a labor & delivery nurse in the Navy. I witnessed so many new parents feeling overwhelmed by conflicting feeding advice, and I knew I wanted to do more. Becoming an IBCLC allowed me to be a trusted, evidence-based resource and a steady support for families in those vulnerable early days.

Outside of work, I’m married to my college sweetheart, and together we’re raising two energetic boys who definitely keep us on our toes! When I’m not busy with work or family life, you can find me reading, crafting, gardening, or dreaming about someday having a little hobby farm of our own 🐓🌿

I love being a safe space for families as they navigate their feeding journey — and I’m so honored to be part of their story 💕

🌎✨ World Breastfeeding Week ✨🌎

Hi, I’m Nicole — IBCLC here at Wisconsin Tongue Tie Institute 💛

My passion for lactation started after having my first child. Even with years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, my husband Tony and I found ourselves overwhelmed in those early weeks — especially when it came to feeding. That experience opened my eyes to the wide range of support families receive and sparked my desire to be part of the solution. I left my position on the floor and chose to focus fully on lactation.

Now, as an IBCLC, I love listening to families, meeting them where they’re at, and helping them navigate one of the most important — and often challenging — parts of parenthood. I take pride in offering evidence-based care, and I’m always learning so I can give the best support possible.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to two awesome boys, Forrest and Beau, and wife to my best friend, Tony. We love being outdoors — whether it’s camping, biking, fishing, snowboarding, or just hanging out at the beach. You can also find me in the garden or cozying up with our snuggly Boston terrier, Rupert 🐾🌿

Being part of a family’s feeding journey is a privilege, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to support parents in this way 💕
