🌿 The Healing Power of a Hum 🌿

Did you know that simply humming can help calm your nervous system? 💫

When you hum, you gently activate your vagus nerve - a key part of your body’s "rest and digest" system. This helps lower stress, slow your heart rate, and bring your body back into balance.

A few minutes of humming can:
🫁 Deepen your breathing
💗 Support heart-rate variability (a sign of nervous system health)
🧘‍♀️ Promote calm and grounded energy
😌 Create soothing vibrations that relax the face and throat

✨ Try it now!
Take a deep breath in through your nose, and hum softly as you exhale. Feel the vibration in your chest and face. Do this for 1–2 minutes and notice how your body shifts.

TUESDAY TESTIMONIAL 🗣

This little cutie's mom writes: "My daughter is a spunky, brilliant, normal and exceptional kid, with a love for life and all people. But as she started school, we were concerned about the bladder leaks and accidents she was still having. Knowing that this could lead to embarrassment and affect her overall learning, we reached out to our pediatrician for help. We tried their suggestions but it didn't seem to make a difference. They referred us to one of the local "big box" urinary specialists, where we were told they DON'T TREAT KIDS HER AGE for bladder issues. Shocked and dismayed, we turned to help from her cognitive therapist who recommended we try PT to rule out any physical issues while she helped us from a behavioral standpoint.

Being only 6 years old at the time, my daughter was nervous about all of this, especially given the nature of the topic and having someone touch her "down there". But we scheduled an appointment at Inspirit with Eliza Andrews, a PT and pelvic health specialist. She immediately felt comfortable and safe with Eliza. After our FIRST session, we began to see a huge improvement in her ability to control her bladder. The education and care we received at Inspirit was better than all the other doctors, specialists, and therapies combined! I'm proud to say that we haven't had ANY issues with this in months. The tips Eliza provided her were so effective, I've been using them myself (and have shared with friends/family who have said they use them too) with the same great results!

I can't say enough about the way Inspirit treats their patients. Honestly, I'm glad now that the other place wouldn't see us! We definitely experienced the "Inspirit Difference" and are "feeling better for life."
