Many clients will express a soul connection with someone. Be aware that just because souls recognize each other in this lifetime does not mean they're meant to be together.

Good questions to ask would be anything to help you understand the previous connection and then how that ties into this current incarnation. Often they are placed in the person's path for closure or to complete that loop, so regardless of why they are there, it's a great opportunity for healing on both ends and it frees up their energy to do what they're going to do next.

Since there's already a connection here, one of the things I like to do is have the client connect to that soul's energy and almost do the healing on a soul level between the two. See what insights need to be understood from that experience and this one. And what needs to be resolved between the two, if anything. And then the best way to move forward for both of them.
