We LOVE the cuddles… but let’s be honest—sleeping in a twisted position, clinging to the edge of the bed while your dog lives their best life in the middle? That’ll catch up to your back real quick 😅

The truth is, your sleep position (and environment) plays a huge role in how your body feels the next day. If you’re waking up stiff, achy, or already needing to stretch before you even get out of bed—it might be time to make a few small changes.

A few simple sleep tips to support your spine:
✨ Find a neutral position
Try to keep your ears, shoulders, and hips stacked. Avoid excessive twisting (even if your pup is extra cute).

🛏 Side sleeper?
Place a pillow between your knees to keep your hips and low back aligned. Bonus: hug a pillow to prevent rolling forward.

😴 Back sleeper?
A small pillow under your knees can take pressure off your low back and help you relax.

🚫 Stomach sleeping?
We get it—but this often puts the most strain on your neck and spine. If you can, try transitioning to side or back sleeping gradually.

🐾 Pet boundaries (we said what we said)
We’re not saying kick them out… but maybe give yourself enough space to actually rest comfortably. Your spine will thank you.

🌪️ The Legit March Madness (aka the Spring Spiral)

If you live with POTS or dysautonomia, you probably know that spring can feel a lot like October’s “slide.”

Welcome to what we like to call the Spring Spiral… where the weather — and sometimes our bodies — can feel a little chaotic.

Why does this time of year hit so hard?

🌡️ Rapid temperature swings
🌧️ Rain → snow → rain again
📉📈 Constant barometric pressure changes
🌬️ Shifting weather fronts

Your nervous system is already working overtime to regulate things like heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature. When the environment keeps changing every few hours, your body has to keep recalibrating.

Many people notice:
• fatigue
• dizziness
• headaches
• brain fog
• increased heart rate
• general flare-ups

And here’s the important part:
You don’t need to have POTS or dysautonomia to feel this. Weather shifts can impact many chronic conditions — including migraines, joint pain, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain syndromes, and more.

With the rain/snow mix coming in, many of you may already be feeling it.

If you’re feeling off this week, you’re not imagining it. Your body is responding to a lot of environmental input right now.

A few gentle reminders during the Spring Spiral:
