Today, some businesses are closing in solidarity with the ICE strike.
We’ve chosen to remain open, not because we are indifferent, but because our work is care. Care for bodies, for nervous systems, and for a community that still needs places to land, breathe, and feel human, especially right now.
When a small business closes, even for a day, the impact is immediate and personal. It affects our staff, their families, and the care spaces that quietly support people through hard moments.
If you are striking today, we encourage you to direct that energy with intention. Don’t give your dollars to corporations that are insulated from consequence. Support local. Support small. Support the places that support you when things are hard.
