We hosted a special Ramadan Iftar tasting for residents, offering a meaningful introduction to the traditions of the sacred month. 🌙

Residents enjoyed lentil soup, hummus, fattoush salad, pita with olive oil and za’atar, and dates, followed by qatayif filled with walnuts.

The evening brought residents and staff together in a warm moment of cultural sharing and community.

Big news at Allegria Village! We’re thrilled to welcome Destiny Thornton to Allegria Village! A Gerontology graduate from Madonna University with a Nursing Home Administrator license and Certified Activities Professional credential, Destiny brings extensive experience in senior living, home healthcare, and national advocacy, supporting older adults and connecting them to vital resources.

Her passion is creating environments where residents feel safe, valued, and cared for, and her dedication makes a meaningful difference for residents, families, and our team.

In her free time, Destiny enjoys family moments, movie nights, ice skating, bowling, and baking for her husband. Let’s give her the warmest welcome!💛🎂
