Concluding our gift guide series is a guide for board games! Whether your kiddo likes a game with movement, "jump-scare" games, or a classic board game this guide has all the favorites. I love using these games in therapy as they can target a variety of goals and are very motivating to most kiddos. 🌟

Happy Tuesday! This week's post is all about ✨phonological processes.✨ As mentioned in our previous post, some speech sound errors are developmentally appropriate depending on the child's age. Check out the infographic for more information. Listed below are the ages of elimination for each phonological process. As always, please call or email with any questions or concerns.

Backing - usually seen in more severe phonological delays
Final consonant deletion - usually eliminated at 3 years old
Fronting - usually eliminated at 3.5 years old
Weak syllable reduction - usually eliminated at 4 years old
Cluster reduction - usually eliminated at 4-5 years old
Deaffrication - usually eliminated by 4 years old
Gliding - usually eliminated at 6 years old
