Eagle Ridge of Decatur Eagle Ridge of Decatur is an affordable assisted lifestyle community for adults 65 and older of all incomes.

Eagle Ridge of Decatur provides a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence. The community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables us to serve adults 65 and older of all financial means, including those on Medicaid. Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the personal assistance and help with medications that they need. Eagle Ridge of Decatur is managed by Gardant Management Solutions, a mission-driven company that is the largest provider of affordable assisted living in Illinois.

We loved having Tanika from Synergy HomeCare join us yesterday! This was her first time calling Bingo with us, and she did an amazing job bringing energy, fun, and lots of smiles. She also took time to talk with our residents about the importance of knowing their home care options—not just for themselves, but for their loved ones and friends as well. Yesterday we came together for Bingo & Wii Bowling in memory of James Gilbert, a resident who meant so much to all of us.
A big thank you to the generosity of his sister, we were able to celebrate James in ways that truly felt like him. James loved Wii bowling and was amazing at it, so every bingo winner had to step up and bowl in his honor as we tried to get the highest score for James. 🎳
Of course, we couldn’t celebrate him without his favorites — McDonald’s cheeseburgers for everyone and gummy worms, a fun nod to his love for fishing.
The prizes were full of reminders of James: a Cardinals hat, an Illinois Fighting Illini shirt, framed drawings showing off his incredible artistic talent, and fishing-themed cat toys with a “100 Grand” bar attached.
It was a day filled with laughter, memories, and love. We will always remember James and the joy he brought to our community. He is truly missed. ❤️

Yesterday was such a great day! We kicked things off in the morning with a fun game of dominoes and let me tell you, the competition was fierce!

Even though Christmas is over, this tree was too special not to share!
Tanika with Synergy Homecare of Central Illinois came up with the great idea to decorate their tree for our annual Festival of Trees event with items our residents could enjoy, like dish towels, headbands, tea, candy canes, honey sticks, and socks. Today, residents got to take home the items—a tree that keeps on giving!🎄

What a wonderful way to ring in the New Year! 🎉 Yesterday’s New Year’s party with our residents was filled with laughter, great company, and delicious finger foods enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to Tracy D. Osborne for the amazing performance that truly set the mood and kept everyone smiling.
