Last week at our site, a patient walked in with one request: “I need to thank Sarina.”

A year ago, he screened for another study but didn’t qualify. Sarina Desai, one of our Nurse Practitioners, explained why and urged him - gently but firmly - to follow up with his doctor. He was upset, but he listened. That appointment led to an immediate hospital admission and a lengthy stay… and ultimately saved his life.

He returned last week in tears to tell Sarina exactly that.

Moments like this remind us why this work matters so much. Our team at CenExel Decatur GA changes lives.
