On MLK Day, we shared slices, laughs, and quality time thanks to Frank Reed and the Elks Lodge. Frank and his family generously volunteered their time to serve pizza, host Bingo, and bring prizes for our residents.

Huge thank you to Decatur BPO Elks Lodge for stopping by with gifts and bringing the Grinch along to help deliver them. The smiles, laughs, and holiday cheer made the day extra special for our residents.

Safe to say the Grinch had a change of heart… and yes, all the presents stayed 😉🎁

From the moment you walk through our doors, Ms. Tonya gives a warm “good morning,” genuine smile, and calming presence instantly make you feel like everything is going to be okay. 💛

Since joining our family in 2023, Tonya has gone above and beyond in every role she’s taken on—from the floor to the front desk—handling daily chaos with grace, professionalism, and unwavering positivity. No matter how busy or stressful the moment, you’d never know it by her smile.

She has a gift: making every consumer feel seen, heard, and important. Whether she’s helping with daily tasks, de-escalating difficult situations, supporting coworkers, or guiding families with compassion, Ms. Tonya does it all with patience, kindness, and heart.

Her loyalty, honesty, and compassion touch everyone she encounters—consumers, families, coworkers, and new team members alike. Congratulations on being our Employee of the Year!

It was a fun Thanksgiving weekend here at the Manor! Staff and consumers came together, shared great food, and enjoyed each other’s company like one big family. 🧡🍽️

We had a great time at Decatur Manor’s Red Carpet Night!

Residents and staff voted the week before, and everyone really got involved. Some even campaigned for their favorite categories. We handed out 1st and 2nd place awards for things like Best Dressed, Best Comedian, Hardest Worker, Social Butterfly, and more.

We had drinks, cookies, and a red carpet with props for fun photos. After the awards, we wrapped up the night with music and dancing at our “after party.”

Thank you to everyone who helped make it a fun night and to all the amazing consumers we got to recognize!

Billy and Kierney arrived at our facility one year apart, each seeking to improve their lives in their own unique ways. Little did they know, their journeys would lead to much more than self-improvement; they found love and companionship in each other. As their relationship blossomed, they decided to get married.

Throughout their time with us, Billy and Kierney diligently followed our program, steadily gaining the skills and confidence needed to live independently. Their hard work and commitment have paid off, and they are now ready to transition back into the community. With the support of state programs, they are prepared to take this next step together.

As they come closer and closer to this new chapter of their lives, they will carry with them the knowledge and experiences they've gained here.
