Fatigue is not a diagnosis.
It is not a personality trait.
It is not aging.
It is not laziness.
And it is not “just stress.”

Fatigue is a biological signal.
It means the body’s ability to produce, regulate, or sustain energy is impaired.
Energy does not disappear randomly.

Every cell produces energy through tightly regulated systems involving:
- Thyroid hormones
- Iron and oxygen delivery
- Blood sugar regulation
- Mitochondrial function
- S*x hormones
- Cortisol rhythms
- Inflammatory signaling
- Nervous system balance

When one or more of these systems is off, fatigue shows up.

What frustrates patients most is being told:
