This month is dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and reminding our community that treatment and recovery are possible.

At Crossing Healthcare and Crossing Recovery Living, we are proud to support individuals on their recovery journey every day through compassionate, evidence-based care. As we head into the holiday week, we want to remind our community that Good Samaritan Inn will be open on Thanksgiving, serving a free hot meal to anyone in need, just as we do 365 days a year.

If you or someone you know could use a warm meal and a welcoming place to sit, our doors will be open from 11:30amโ€“1:00pm.

Weโ€™re proud to share that Charmaine Robertson-Stoner, LCSW, Chief Behavioral Health Officer, and Emily Wilkey, BA, Recovery Services Coordinator, presented today at the IPHCA Maternal Health Summit in Bloomington.

Their session, โ€œSocial Supports for Pregnant and Postpartum Patients,โ€ highlighted the innovative, family-centered work happening through our Pregnant & Parenting Program.

The Summit brings together FQHC providers from across Illinois to focus on improving maternal health outcomes through evidence-based practices and successful community programs. Charmaine and Emily did an incredible job representing Crossing Healthcare and sharing the impact of our work with pregnant and parenting individuals in recovery.
