Please join us on March 19th and celebrate , a wonderful Decatur based non profit.

For the third year, Atlanta, in partnership with Legacy Park Decatur, are offering Serenity Within: The 2026 Legacy Self Compassion Series, a monthly community gathering grounded in restoration, relationship, and care for the common good.
Each month, neighbors will come together at Legacy Park for an evening of gentle healing practices, followed by conversation, light snacks, and the opportunity to learn about the work of a featured Decatur nonprofit. All proceeds from each gathering support that organization directly.
L’Arche Atlanta is a vibrant, inclusive community where adults with and without intellectual disabilities share daily life, meals, laughter, work, spirituality, and friendship. We embrace each person’s’ unique gifts and believe that we are all better together. Through our two homes where adults with and without disabilities share life together and our free community events, we work to build a world where everyone belongs.

If you cannot attend, please feel free to make a donation towards this event.

We’re Back!

For February 2026, Compassionate Atlanta opens the series up.
We are a local nonprofit that brings people together to build kinder, healthier communities. Our mission is to help people learn, practice, and share compassion in everyday life. We work across Georgia with neighbors, schools, faith communities, nonprofits, and local organizations to help everyone feel seen, valued, and connected. Through gatherings, conversations, storytelling, and community programs, we help reduce loneliness, support mental health, and strengthen relationships. We believe compassion helps communities grow stronger and helps people live better lives. When people feel they belong, communities thrive.

🎁Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s toy drive.

Because of your support, and a few Christmas Angels, we purchased gifts for over 200 children supported by the Refugee Women’s Network. This is what community impact looks like, thank you for being part of it!

Help Us Put a Smile on a Child’s Face This Holiday Season!

The holidays are approaching quickly, and we are asking for your support in bringing joy to nearly 200 Ukrainian and Congolese children who have recently resettled in our community. Many of these children arrived after fleeing war, violence, or instability. They are navigating new schools, new languages, and new surroundings while their families work to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

These families are supported by the Refugee Women’s Network (RWN), a nonprofit that has spent more than 25 years empowering refugee and immigrant women and their children. RWN helps families adjust to life in the United States by providing community support, access to essential services, job readiness training, entrepreneurship programs, and the tools needed to establish stability and independence.
