⚠️ Update for My PEMF Clients: EHV Safety Measures ⚠️

With the recent EHV outbreak, I want to reassure everyone that I am taking this situation very seriously. The health and safety of your horses remains my top priority.

I am continuing PEMF sessions with the following precautions in place:

🧼 Sanitized Equipment
All equipment is cleaned and sanitized between each horse and between barns.

👐 Hand Hygiene
I sanitize my hands before, after, and between sessions.

🚫 No Equipment Shared Between Locations Without Cleaning
Everything is sanitized before traveling to a new barn.

🐴 Mindful Scheduling
I may adjust routes to minimize movement between facilities when needed.

Thank you for your trust and communication as we navigate this together. My heart is with everyone affected.

✨ For horses who are currently on a lighter schedule or downtime, gentle support like PEMF can help them stay comfortable and come back feeling their best once things settle. No pressure at all, just an option for those who feel it may benefit their horse during this slower period.

⭐️Where Horses Carry Stress in Their Bodies⭐️

Just like people, horses hold stress and tension in certain parts of their bodies — and these spots often tell us a lot before bigger issues show up.

Here are the most common areas I see during sessions:

• Poll & Jaw — tension here can affect the entire topline and show up as head tossing, bracing, or difficulty flexing.
• Neck & Shoulders — a major stress zone for performance horses and those who compensate for other soreness.
• Withers & Back — often linked to saddle fit, posture, or a horse trying to avoid lifting through the back.
• Hindquarters & SI — the engine of the horse, and a common place they hide discomfort or weakness.
• Ribs & Barrel — often overlooked, but restricted ribs = restricted movement and breathing.

PEMF helps release deep tension, improve circulation, and support better mobility and comfort — helping horses carry themselves more freely and comfortably. 🐴💆‍♂️⚡

🩸Infrared & Blood Flow🩸

The infrared pictures provide a clear illustration of the enhanced blood flow to the areas of the body that have been pulsed or are being pulsed, in contrast to the areas that have not.

As each area of the body is being pulsed, circulation is being increased. PEMF therapy increases cellular membrane permeability by contracting the cells and by stimulating the opening of ion channels through the cell membrane. This allows for better circulation of oxygen and nutrients into the cells and carbon dioxide and waste products out of the cells.
