🌸 Spring is in the house… The Carriages of Decatur, that is! 🌸

We had so much fun creating these sweet and simple spring decorations today! With just a block of wood, a little lavender paint, a decorative napkin, and some Mod Podge… voilà — beautiful handmade pieces full of seasonal charm!

Sometimes the easiest crafts bring the biggest smiles. 💜

🐣🌷 Happy Easter from all of us at The Carriages of Decatur! 🌷🐣

We had a day packed full of fun, laughter, and sweet moments shared together. From enjoying a delicious Easter meal with family and friends, to toe-tapping live musical entertainment by Mike Garrett and his One Man Band, the joy was truly contagious!

And of course, we couldn’t forget dessert! Our amazing cooks treated us to a rich and decadent chocolate mousse in honor of “Chocolate Mousse Day” — the perfect ending to a beautiful day.

We are so grateful for the memories made and the time spent with those who mean the most. 💛

We moseyed on over to Cracker Barrel for a wonderful lunch together yesterday—full of great food, laughter, and even better company. Moments like these are what it’s all about! 💛

And the fun doesn’t stop there… we’re already counting down the days until our next adventure to the Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum next Wednesday! 🚗✨

Homemade heart-shaped bars of soap! We had such a lovely time creating these beautiful little treasures together. Each resident picked their favorite color and enjoyed sampling a variety of essential oils to find the scents they loved most.

From start to finish, it was filled with smiles, laughter, and creativity. There’s just something special about making something with your own hands—and even more special when it’s shared together. 💕

Joe & Lisa May hosted our March Birthday Party today, and what a truly magical celebration it was! 🎉💐

Joe’s music, Lisa’s incredible energy, and the kindness of their friends from the VFW—who faithfully pitch in each month to provide our beautiful birthday cakes—made the day so special for our birthday residents and all who joined in the fun.

“Thank you” just doesn’t feel like enough to express how grateful we are for you both and everything you do!

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Svendsen’s Florist for the stunning individual birthday bouquets. Your generosity and the beauty you share with our residents is truly moving. 💕🌸

Our hearts are full today because of all of you!

Our ladies LOVE working on puzzles! 🧩💕

Em completed one today after about a week—with lots of help from fellow residents along the way. It was truly a team effort, and so fun to watch everyone come together to make it happen!
