Full Body Mobility Routine - Travel-Friendly! 🧳

4 easy exercises to help keep the plane/bus/car/train stiffness from ruining your holidays:

✈️ World’s Greatest Stretch: 5 reps of each movement on each side
✈️ Prayer Stretch Rockbacks (2 versions): 10 rock backs with each arm position, holding 3-5 seconds each
✈️ 2 Way Calf Stretch: 1 minute holds in each position on each leg
✈️ Neck CARs: 5 repetitions in each direction

👑 Meet King Louie — the OG of the Swart household.

He’s more extroverted than Jake (hard to believe, we know) and has never met a stranger he didn’t love.

🚗 Car rides? He’s in.
🏖️ Beach days? He’s already packed.
💪 Tug-of-war? You better bring your A-game.
🧹 Vacuums? …Consider that a declaration of war.

Fun fact: Louie was once the official Face of the Race for Decatur’s “Run with the Dogs” 5K — and honestly, the title still fits.

So if you see this legend around town, don’t hesitate to say hi and give him some pets —
just maybe skip the compliments… his head’s big enough already 😎

🌟 AP TEAM RETREAT 2025 🌟

This year was one for the books:
- We added FOUR new team members
- We made friends with the local wildlife
- Everyone crushed the morning team workout
- We enjoyed some delicious food
- We handed out some new swag to keep us looking fresh
- We gathered to review where we have been and where we’re going to go

💪 Want your first ring muscle-up? Start here.

Drills > frustration.

1️⃣ Beat Swing on Rings: focus here is to learn about pushing the rings forward in the hollow and pulling them back in the arch while keeping your core engaged.

2️⃣ Low Ring Hip Drive to Transition: how to build the hip drive required to initiate your transition with help from your legs.

3️⃣ Hip Drive on Rings: putting together the previous two drills by executing a beat swing and driving your hips up to meet the rings.

🐾 PET SPOTLIGHT(S) OF THE MONTH 🐶

Claire’s house is home to many animals on rotation as she is a long-time foster mom…but these are three pups captured her heart and become the best “foster fails”.

Bill - sweet and lover of all living creatures. A big fan of giving kisses, biscottis, a good sploot, hanging his head out the window, and being the AP Decatur greeter on Thursdays 💋 Not a big fan of: the ice machine, baths, thunderstorms, and lack of attention.

Franklin - a quirky, grumpy, lovable old man. Lover of: Sun chips, ear rubs, a good foot lick, pizza crust, and his special donut bed 🍩 Doesn’t like: erg machines, getting his ears cleaned, and being left out.

Both Franklin and Bill having a loving home with Claire and her husband after Claire lost her soul-dog Sassy girl in October last year. In her honor, both of these foster-fails are living the lives they were meant to live and she would like to remind everyone to remember to adopt, foster, donate, and rescue - don’t shop! 🐕
