“Peace is your default setting.”
I heard this in church a while back.
Thank you 🤍
And it stayed with me because it reminds me so much of my work.
It’s easy to forget when you’re living in the everyday noise.
Deadlines. Responsibilities. Stress that quietly settles onto your shoulders.
Over time, you start to operate as if chaos is the default.
But it’s not.
Peace is.
Sure, experiences can pull you away from it.
But with focus and intentional action, you can reconnect.
Taking time to be still matters.
Listening to your body matters.
And in the quiet of a massage room, there’s space to pause, to breathe, and to come back to yourself.
It’s time to reclaim your peace.
Flip the switch.
If your body has been asking for support,
massage can help.
Around the holidays, a lot of people are carrying things that they don’t share.
Grief. Heaviness. Missing people. Holding it together when you’d rather rest.
This time of year has a way of bringing up emotions that you didn’t expect.
And your body carry that weight too (whether you realize it or not).
Sometimes what you need isn’t “fixing” or forcing yourself to feel better.
Sometimes it’s really just a place where you can be still.
Where you can breathe. Where you can be cared for.
There is something healing in touch. In being supported. In letting your body feel safe enough to let go, even just a little.
If this message resonates with you, know that you’re welcome here.
I have a few appointments available on Friday, December 19th and Saturday, December 20th, before I step away for vacation from December 21st–26th.
I’ll be back in the studio on Saturday, December 27th.
If you need a little support in this season, I invite you to book a session to give yourself some space to rest.

When I first started my massage career, I said yes to everything. I worked nonstop and missed moments that mattered.
With time (and a lot of hard lessons), I learned what I really value: connection, presence, alignment. And now I make space for that in my business.
My family is coming in from NYC for the holidays, 🥰 so I'll be taking a little time off and returning to the studio on December 27.
This is me choosing alignment and making space for what matters.
And it's your reminder that you're allowed to do the same.
If you've been wanting to schedule a massage before the holidays or book a session for when I return, now is the time.
PS...🎁 Gift certificates are on sale through December 24 (save up to $20 on your massage)

You’re not hallucinating. Your body is actually hurting more this time of year.
Every year around this time, I see the same thing happening in almost all of my clients.
That cold weather hits, life gets busier, and your body starts talking louder than your schedule will allow.
If your neck has been tight, your shoulders feel glued in place, or your whole body aches the minute the temperature drops, you’re not doing anything wrong.
This is the season when muscles brace, tighten, and try to protect you… even when you’re not aware of it.
Here’s what actually helps:
1️⃣ Give your neck warmth so it doesn’t tense against the wind. 2️⃣ Add heat to the muscles that feel tight or achy. 3️⃣ Move gently. Stretch slowly.
🫶🏽 Small things matter more this time of year.
You’re not falling apart.
Your body is asking for support so it doesn’t have to work so hard on its own.
If you want to ease the tension and feel like yourself again, I’m here for you.
Book your session at www.massageartistryatl.com.
Your body will feel the difference.

Imagine a world where stress doesn't dictate your day.
What could life be if you had a plan and the support to effectively manage your pain and stress on a daily basis?
Life changing, I bet.
At Massage Artistry, you won't just get a great massage; you'll leave with a better understanding of your body and what to do when pain and stress show up.
It's time for you to meet the personalized wellness plans designed specifically for YOU.
Don't wait until the new year, lets prioritize stress relief and a healthier work-life balance now.
Stress can creep into our lives and affect our bodies in silent but impactful ways.
One thing I hear often from my clients is: "I have trouble turning off my brain at night."
And that lack of quality sleep leads to poor focus, irritability, and exhaustion, which makes stress even harder to manage the next day.
Here's a quick guide to help you unwind at night so you can feel better and show up better in your life.
Wind Down & Reduce Stress Before Bed Checklist:
✅ Do a Brain Dump
Write out everything on your mind...especially your to-do list. Star ⭐️ the 3 most important things for tomorrow, so your brain doesn’t keep running in circles. And you can wake up knowing exactly what you need to tackle. That way, you can hit the ground running with your tasks.
✅ Dim the Lights
Lowering light levels tells your brain it’s time to wind down. Harsh lighting at night can keep you wired, making it harder to sleep.
✅ Breathe with Intention
Try 5 minutes of deep breathing (like the 4-7-8 method: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, exhale for 8). This signals your nervous system to relax.
✅ Use Aromatherapy
Light a candle or use a diffuser with calming scents like lavender or chamomile (or place a drop of essential oil on a tissue and slip it into your pillowcase.
✅ Avoid Screens 1-2 Hours Before Bed
Instead of scrolling, read a physical book, color, or do a calming craft. This helps reduce blue light exposure and lets your brain naturally prepare for sleep.
Now What?
If this post resonated with you take some time tonight to try out the Wind Down Routine.
Comment below and let me know if you're going to be giving it a shot! I'd love to cheer you on 😊
