We offer Acute Care services (Medical/Surgical/ICU), Inpatient and Ambulatory Surgery as well as Orthopaedic surgery, Cardiopulmonary care including Sleep Studies, Laboratory services, Comprehensive Radiology Services including MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammorgraphy, and Bone Density Testing. Adams Memorial also offers a 24-hour Emergency Department, Adams County EMS, StatCare (an after hours urgent care clinic), Corporate Medical Services (an industrial based clinic).

đź’™Exciting News from Adams Health!đź’™

Adams Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the launch of our new Siemens Magnetom Altea 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner, now fully operational in our newly constructed MRI suite.

This state-of-the-art upgrade enhances diagnostic accuracy for our providers while improving comfort and efficiency for our patients. The new MRI offers exceptional image quality, quieter exams, shorter scan times, and enhanced comfort features, allowing our Radiology team to serve more patients each day.

The project spanned 10 weeks and included the complete removal of our previous MRI unit and the construction of a brand-new scan room, technologist room, and equipment space. Throughout the process, MRI services continued uninterrupted thanks to a temporary mobile MRI unit—ensuring ongoing access to care for our community. A key milestone in the project occurred on September 2, when the previous MRI scanner was officially quenched—a procedure in which the magnet is demagnetized. After an emergency quench button was activated by a Siemens engineer, helium was safely released, allowing the magnet to lose its magnetic field within minutes.
