​It is National Administrator’s Week, and we want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on our incredible Administrator, John.
​A true leader doesn't just manage; they serve alongside their team. Whether he’s rolling up his sleeves to wash wheelchair wheels, sweeping the dining room floor, or out in the cold clearing ice from the parking lot to keep everyone safe, John consistently goes above and beyond for our residents and staff.
​His dedication and "all-in" attitude remind us every day why we are so lucky to have him at the helm. John, thank you for your hard work, your humility, and for leading by example.

​Our St. Patrick’s Day party was a total sham-rockin' success! Our residents had a blast celebrating with festive music, and, of course, plenty of green treats.

Mr. Decola arrived at Decatur Medical Lodge determined to finish therapy and get back home as soon as he could. From the moment he showed up, he kept everyone laughing with his jokes, his positive attitude, and the way he made every therapy session feel like an event.
He worked hard, met every goal, and proudly returned home, just like he said he would.
But the best part?
He missed us enough to keep coming back.
Now Mr. Decola drops by regularly to say hello, share stories, and brighten everyone’s day. He may have been a short‑term rehab patient, but he’ll always be part of the Decatur Medical Lodge family.

Our amazing PT and OT team has been hard at work, helping our residents build strength, improve mobility, and even have a little fun while doing it!
Today’s workout included something extra special… 🎶
One of our residents exercised while playing a harmonica!
Yep, you read that right strengthening lungs, muscles, AND musical talent all at once! 💪🎵
Around here, therapy isn’t just productive… it’s creative, joyful, and full of heart.
Huge shoutout to our therapy department for keeping spirits high and bodies moving. ❤️
