When choosing a hospice, it’s important to understand the services offered, the structure of the care team, and the additional programs available to support you or your loved one.
At Hospice of the Valley, our dedicated care team is made up of local physicians and compassionate professionals who are committed to providing individualized, patient-centered care. As the only nonprofit hospice serving our community, we are able to offer goodwill services and programs at no cost to our patients, their families, or the community.

For four decades, we have walked with patients and families through life’s most tender moments. As we step into the new year, we renew our promise to serve with the same unwavering heart and purpose, proud to continue as the only nonprofit hospice dedicated solely to our community.

Our Mission

Hospice of the Valley is a community-based not-for-profit agency that started in 1985 that provides care and support to residents of Morgan, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Cullman, Franklin and Marshall Counties in Alabama, who are facing end-of-life care decisions. We provide Hospice Care for those with life-limiting diseases, and Grief Support Groups for anyone who has suffered a loss through death. Hospice of the Valley prides itself in knowing that we take every measure to provide the best possible care through our professional clinical staff and well-trained volunteers. Exceeding expectations is our standard of care.
