Two impactful Chamber related events in two days for the Hospice of the Valley team.
Yesterday, team members attended the State of the City hosted by the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce, gaining valuable insight into the growth and developments shaping The City of Decatur, Alabama - Government.
Today, additional team members had the privilege of attending the Decatur Women's Chamber of Commerce High Tea, an event and organization dedicated to supporting local nonprofits.
We believe it is essential to both educate and actively support our community partners and fellow nonprofit organizations.

We are grateful to be included as a nonprofit in Decatur Baptist Church’s Annual Community Impact Celebration this year.
During Saturday’s Serve Day, volunteers generously gave their time to assemble patient care bags, candles, and informational materials that will directly support the families we serve. Their compassion and willingness to serve made a lasting impact.
We also sincerely appreciate the opportunity to educate the congregation about our services as the community’s only nonprofit hospice provider since 1985. Partnerships like these allow us to continue delivering compassionate, quality care to those who need it most. Thank you Decatur Baptist Church for your support, your service, and your heart for the community.

We are incredibly proud to share that Hospice of the Valley’s own Wesley Thompson, M.Div., Bereavement Educator & Chaplain, once again had the distinguished honor of delivering the opening prayer before the Alabama State House of Representatives on Tueaday in Montgomery.
This recognition speaks volumes about Wesley’s compassion, leadership, and the deep respect he has earned in his field and beyond. We are honored to have him as a vital member of the Hospice of the Valley team.
