Cole Counseling Services was all around town this morning.
My morning started as an expert witness.. first time for EVERYTHING!!
Secondly I had the privilege to do a lunch and learn Q&A with Millikin University Students!!
I am so thankful for my journey and for EVERY Opportunity i get to come out side of the counseling office to help!! 🦋

Today, our city is grieving after a tragedy rooted in domestic violence. As a survivor and as a counselor, I want to speak to anyone who may be feeling triggered right now. Please know—your reaction is a very natural response to your own trauma story. You are not weak, and you are not alone.
It’s okay to feel what you’re feeling. It’s okay to talk about it—with safe people, in safe places. Healing begins when we give our stories air and allow them to be held in compassion, not shame.
If you are struggling, please reach out. Your life matters. Your story matters. And you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
