We are proud to spotlight Sarah Rice, a dedicated Clerical and Administrative Specialist at Graceland-Fairlawn. As the welcoming presence at the front desk, Sarah supports families with care and professionalism, answering calls, assisting with questions and payments, coordinating paperwork, and helping ensure every visit and meeting runs smoothly. She also assists with genealogy research, helping individuals locate the resting places of loved ones.
Sarah joined Graceland-Fairlawn on October 6, 2025, drawn to the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while using her skills and education. Having personally experienced the compassion and dignity shown to her own family here, she brings that same empathy to every interaction. She believes deeply in honoring life, people and pets alike, and often offers comfort in simple but meaningful ways, whether through a kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present in the moment.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys writing poetry and journaling, dancing, music, history, genealogy, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. She has a deep appreciation for her Scottish heritage, enjoys attending the Highland Games, and dreams of visiting Scotland one day.
