🧠 Dementia & Women’s Health — What’s the Connection?

Women face a higher lifetime risk of dementia, and hormonal changes during midlife may be one contributing factor.

Dekalb Women’s Specialists was founded by Albert Scott, Jr., MD in 1991. He is currently serving as the President of Dekalb Women’s Specialist. We offer a full range of OBGYN services including minimally invasive surgery, such as hysterectomies and myomectomies. Areas we excel at include uterine fibroid removal and management, treatment for heavy periods and abnormal uterine bleeding, 3D and 4D ultrasounds for expecting mothers, and menopause management. We also pride ourselves on our physician-directed weight loss program. From adolescence through menopause, we are dedicated to providing top care for women in the East Atlanta area.
