We aim to ensure every child has a permanent support network before they "age out" of the system. Unfortunately, thats not always the case.

In 2021, 1,227 youth aged out of the Texas foster care system. Of those, nearly 20% experienced immediate homelessness, over 50% were unemployed by age 24, and approximately 25% faced incarceration within two years.

We seek to break these cycles for youth who experienced foster care.

We're on a mission to empty the Texas foster care system of waiting children, one child at a time – by matching them with loving adoptive families and providing transitional homes and support for youth who age out without one. ❤️

Future Hope, a program of Addy's hope, is an independent housing program with built in support through staff and 1:1 mentorship to bridge these gaps for young adults who have aged out of Foster Care without family support.

There are nearly 7,000 children in the Texas foster care system currently who are legally free for adoption. This means that parental rights have already been terminated and they are ready to placed in an adoptive home –no fostering required! If you have been told you are required to foster to adopt children from CPS, please understand that is an agency policy and not a policy of the state of Texas!

1st Quarter of 2026 Update:
-Currently serving 37 families through They Wait
-Finalized 2 adoptions
-Future Hope has welcomed a new resident
-Offered post adopt support to 75 children and parents through Sustaining Hope
-Hosted 4 night out events for adoptive moms
-Trained new families in both locations
-Sent out family home studies over 150 times

Our program provides independent living with support through mentorship, opportunities, and community.
