Adoptive Moms, you're not going to want to miss this! We have a very special "Book Review Night" planned for our monthly Coffee Moms night, and we couldn’t be more honored to welcome our guest, Le Shepard, to lead the conversation at Agape and Associates who is generously hosting us this month!

Le is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) who truly "gets it." With a master's in Counseling Psychology and specialized training in trauma and adoption, she dedicates her professional life to helping families navigate the beautiful, complex, and sometimes heavy journeys of foster care and adoption.

What makes Le so special is that she isn't just a clinician—she’s a mama by both birth and adoption herself. She understands the unique pressures of parenting children from "hard places" and brings a wealth of empathy, humor, and wisdom to everything she does. Whether she’s counseling couples, homeschooling her four kids, or exploring a National Park, Le is a constant advocate for parents who need a safe space to be heard.

It would take over 4 Levi's Stadiums to hold the number of children in foster care today in the United States.

The number of children legally free for adoption in foster care is roughly 67% of the stadium's expanded capacity for today's game—equivalent to filling about two-thirds of the seats.

The terms "legally free" and "awaiting families" simply mean that parental rights have been terminated and the child is without a family.

2/3rds of that stadium are children needing a loving, adoptive family.

Addy’s Hope representing at the Statewide SIL Summit!

Our Future Hope staff have spent the day at the first ever Texas statewide SIL Summit to learn from other SILs as well as be a voice for youth who are aging out and the barriers they face with State level staff!!

It’s been a full day of learning and leading! We are proud of the role Addy’s Hope continues to take in the state in being a voice for youth in Texas within the child protection system as well as serving youth as individuals and empowering them to meet their goals!
