This morning we were excited to learn more about HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Decatur's $90 million investment in our community.

Through this modernization of its facilities, St. Mary's will continue to serve current patients and future generations for years to come. Some of the highlights will include:

-Four new state-of-the-art operating rooms with advanced technologies for enhanced efficiency.
-Redesign of Post-Anesthesia Recovery Unit.
-Addition of two state-of-the-art GI labs.
-Relocation of Central Sterile department.
-Relocation of the Chapel to the main lobby.
-Relocation and enhancement of Cardiac Rehabilitation services.
-Renovation of inpatient medical care spaces.

Today, Foundation supporters and community leaders gathered for breakfast, a special presentation and guided tours of the nearly complete state-of-the-art surgical suites and framed out chapel space at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital.
