Trust Yourself: A Blindfold Yoga Experience with Ruan
Friday, April 10
8pm-9pm
Monthly & yearly members: $10
Not a member yet? $30
In our fast-paced modern lives, we absorb thousands of sensory cues each day—sounds, sights, notifications—often without pause. Pratyahara, a foundational yogic practice, invites us to gently draw the senses inward and rest in a quieter, more intimate experience of ourselves.
This 60-minute, slowly moving, alignment-based class offers a rare opportunity to turn your attention fully inside. With the support of a blindfold, the sense of sight softens, allowing your awareness of body and breath to naturally deepen without visual distraction. In the safe, held space of darkness, you’ll be guided with intentional, spacious cues that encourage trust—trust in yourself, trust in your body, and trust in the space that holds you.
Benefits:
Cultivates deeper focus & trust in the body
Balances nervous system & softens sensory overload
Strengthens mind-body connection & inner awareness
Encourages presence over perfection
Space is limited to first 20 registrations. Bring your yoga mat and water. No prior experience required. Blindfolds will be provided for use, or if you prefer you can bring an eye mask from home, or simply close your eyes.
